Water Affordability and the Impacts of Toxins

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE

Meeting Goals:

  • Bring together policy organizations and on-the-ground practitioners for a day of learning and relationship-building to inform local, state, regional, and national advocacy efforts to improve water safety, access, and efficiency of water infrastructure.

  • Set the stage for long-term relationships among residents from different cities and their community water councils.

  • 9:45 am – 10:30 am: Addressing PFAS Panel: Montell Menifee - Office of Senator Gary Peters, Oday Salim - NWF,  and Tony Spaniola - Community Activist & Lawyer *

  • 10:30 am - 10:45 am: Public Advocacy in EGLE: Regina Strong, State of Michigan
